Skin Peel
TREATMENT AREAS
To be used topically in the eye area.
TREATMENT DURATION
Recommended 2-4 treatments
(dependent on skin type) 2-3 weeks apart
for optimal results.
SUITABLE FOR
A patient who is 18+, skin type 1-6, trying
to achieve: Improvement in skin texture
around the eye area, reduction of fine
lines and wrinkles, sun or age spots.
SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Eye is the
weakest in the range and is therefore
suitable for those new to chemical peels
as an introductory peel.
INGREDIENTS
Glycolic acid 15%, Lactic acid 15%, Silica,
Deionized water.
TREATMENT PROTOCOL
After careful consultation and assessing
of the patient’s skin type, use a brush or
gloved finger to apply a thin layer of gel
onto the skin. Leave for a maximum of 3
minutes. Use SKINPROJECT Neutralising
Red Gel to remove the product. This
is a guide to timings only. Application
time depends on the skin’s redness and
patient’s pain tolerance.
DOWNTIME
The procedure may cause mild erythema
and flaking of the skin. These sensations
will gradually diminish over the course of
a week as the skin returns to its normal
appearance. However, some patients
react differently.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Warnings: SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Eye
should not be used on patients with an
active skin disease. Never apply the product
on areas with erythema, inflammation,
irritation, or abrasion. The peeling should
not be used together with other cosmetic
treatments such as microdermabrasion,
electrolysis, depilatories, hair removal
lasers, waxing or bleaching agents. A
patient who not is willing to comply with
the photo protective requirements noted
in the post-treatment instructions should
not be given the treatment.
Please consult your doctor if you are
receiving prescribed medication for a skin
condition.
